About Doppio

Doppio was founded in 1985 to provide a way for students to act on a real stage. Since then, the association has grown to be much more than that! Nowadays Doppio boasts around 150 members. Besides the members taking part in productions, we also have members that help with decor, lights, etc! Everyone is welcome, if you want to play or not!

One of the core values of Doppio is that everyone can act! This means that there are no auditions*, and everyone of every level of skill can join and take part in a theatre production.

Our location: Luna

Doppio is located within the Luna building of the TU/e. This building contains our rehearsal rooms, storage space and the corona hall (our main theatre). Luna is located here: Google Maps.

Rehearsal Space

Doppio has two primary rehearsal spaces, Submarine and Zeppelin. These rooms are next to our storage, so the use of decor and costumes is quite easy!

Dubble Decker

This two-level storage space, located next to our two rehearsal spaces, houses most of our decor and costumes. With hundreds of objects, each play will surely find what they need here!

Corona Hall

Our primary theatre. Named after its iconic cupola, this stage houses most of our performances throughout the year.
